Backend Developer
Mavigex is a company that has been involved in the design and development of Internet-based software applications since 2005, with a specialization on cloud web platforms and mobile applications. We offer particular added value in integrating with existing IT systems, relying on expertise on the latest generation of cloud platforms, with a focus on micro-services and serverless architectures.
We have recently acquired accreditation as a Laboratory of the High Technology Network of the Emilia Romagna Region and are able to cover all the implementation needs of the latest generation web and mobile applications, ranging from user interface design to full stack development.
We are always looking for new projects and challenges, and are currently seeking a Backend Developer to join our Team to support the implementation of new solutions for Clients.
Minimum requirements
Proven experience in backend development in Node.js technology or through Django framework
Proven track record of implementing solutions based on AWS services (or similar cloud platforms)
Experience in implementing serverless architectures (Container, AWS Lambda)
Experience using both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases
Experience in implementing RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of TDD methodologies and automated testing
Using code versioning through GIT
Objectives and activities
Develop middleware and backend using TypeScript/NodeJS or Python/Django
Identify architectural solutions that best meet the technical requirements of projects
Liaise with Clients' technical managers to refine technical requirements and collaboratively optimize implemented solutions
Intervene and integrate at different stages of the software life cycle
Relate effectively with other members of the project and development team
Make an active contribution to process improvement to enhance user experience, product quality and development process
Continuously improve one's technical and inter-personal skills
