Our work for PlanetProf
The collaboration with PlanetProf was born within theInnovami incubator in Imola. The startup owner had the idea, but was looking for a development team that could support him technologically in creating the platform.
Through an APP+WebPanel platform, teachers can receive personalized content pertaining to textbook reference, cultural events, travel and study-holiday offers, training and language courses.
The teacher can comment on and evaluate the content received, as well as view attachments for further study (such as requests for information or essay copies).
The journey with PlanetProf started with defining the functional specification, to identify the most important features that the first MVP should have.
Following functional specifications:
- The wireframe of the app and dashboard was created, showing the structure of the platform and the layout of all elements;
- Once the wireframes were approved, the graphic mockups were made, in which all the style elements within the app are shown.
Following the graphical mockups, we moved on to the development phase.
The web platform for uploading content, sending it to end users and analyzing statistics was built in PHP (with the Laravel framework and a graphical layout in Bootstrap + jquery).
Cloudconvert has also been integrated for video uploading, which is functional for optimizing videos for web viewing.
Themobile application, on the other hand, was built using the Ionic3 framework. The application receives push notifications whenever user-appropriate content is loaded.
